Continued Growth for the IBA: Strong Member Retention and New Associate Members in May

The IBA would like to welcome its new members in May 2026, with the addition of five Associate Members joining our growing list of new members for the year. Our Associate Members are a vital part of our indie beer community, and their support is invaluable to the IBA and all of our brewery members.

On the back of strong Associate Member growth, brewery members would have noticed an uptick in member offers as the IBA renews its focus on ensuring the delivery of member benefits in conjunction with its 60+ Associate Members. May saw the delivery of multiple member offers, banner ads in newsletters, social media posts, an advertorial and resources to help service our brewery members, and we look forward to continuing to deliver for our members.

While there were no new brewery members in May, the IBA collected the data on renewals and are proud to report that renewal numbers are thriving with a marked increase in renewals over the past 12 months, showing that more and more breweries are seeing the value in continued membership and participation with the IBA. Thank you to all of our brewery members who have renewed their membership and continue to support the IBA.

Our five new Associate members for May are Legit Ink who are at the ready for all of your merch needs, Ryefield Hops producing hop products out of Bemboka NSW , Breww dealing in brewery management software, The Energy Alliance helping you with brewery energy costs and Universal Flavours who specialise in concentrated flavourings for the beverage industry. Thank you to all of our new and existing members.
