We are happy to announce the appointment of our new Chair and Deputy Chair.

Callum Reeves from Kaiju! Beer has been appointed as our Chair and brings a wealth of experience and passion for the industry. His innovative approach and dedication to quality are paramount, as evidenced by his recent success at the Australian Independent Beer Awards as our newly crowned Champion Medium Brewery!

Callum said: “Having been on the Board for the past couple of years and seeing the huge amount of work and leadership undertaken by the IBA, lead me to stepping up.

I know how crucial it is for the Board and the Executive to communicate well to our members, to hit our strategic goals, to keep promoting and growing the indie brewing community. I’m honoured to take on this role and to work with our extremely talented Board and Team”.

Evin (Ev) Craney from Bright Brewery has been appointed as the new Deputy Chair. Evin’s commitment to excellence and community engagement has significantly contributed to the success of Bright Brewery.

Evin commented “You only get what you put in, so after a decade in the industry I felt it was time to give back to something that had given me so much by joining the IBA board. I am incredibly grateful to continue my tenure on the board now as Deputy Chair to Callum Reeves in our pursuit for a better and more viable industry for our members”
